Andhra Pradesh Posts Record GST Revenue Collection of ₹3,354 Crore in April 2025

Andhra Pradesh Achieves Highest-Ever GST Revenue in April

The State of Andhra Pradesh has seen an increase in tax collection, which is a positive change compared to the decline that happened in November and December.

By using smart policies and better ways to follow rules, the state saw its GST revenue grow steadily in the first three months of 2025. April 2025 was especially good for collecting tax revenue.

Since the introduction of GST, Net tax collections reached Rs 3,354 crore in April 2025, marking the highest amount collected. Positive financial growth is seen through the same performance, holding appropriate tax administration.

Chief Commissioner of State Tax Babu A emphasises the state’s financial strength and enforcement initiatives made to improve tax compliance.

In April 2025, the net GST collections show the highest revenue since the start of the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (APGST) Act in 2017.

Since the introduction of the AP Goods and Services Tax (APGST) Act, the IGST settlement of Rs 1943 crore is also the highest revenue.

As net revenue shows the actual revenue accrued to the state, post accounting for IGST settlements and other components, this growth in net collections is important.
