Chhattisgarh Open University To Impart GST Education

Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, the GST lessons for the first time has been included in the syllabus of the students as the State Government has felt the requirement of the GST lessons to be given to the students as beginners. Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University, Kony, has started a program which imparts GST lessons and admissions for the same are going on. This is a six months’ program and the commerce students and charted accounts would be benefited by this program and at the completion of the same, a certificate would be awarded to the students.

The University claims that the students opting this program and carrying a related certificate would be exposed to a much better job and would be given preference in jobs.

GST is a ‘hard nut to crack’ for most of the common people and to impart knowledge regarding this, several workshops and programs have been organized by the Government.

The people involved in the business are amongst the neediest ones and in the lack of GST knowledge, they go for appointing Chartered accountants, which is a much costly affair for them. The CA job is a very lucrative job and offers a handsome salary.

Considering the difficulties of GST understanding and future needs of the knowledge on the same subject, the vice chancellor of Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Open University had decided to study differently in Coni with the permission of council of councils. Admission for the subject is going on and a student affiliated with this university could opt this subject for learning.

The Three Topics Included

According to the GST University management, there have been three subjects included in the syllabus of GST learning.

  • GST Rule
  • Calculation of GST
  • Contact or Practical

The University would allow one to operate with a credit based system. Any interested student can apply for admission in it till 22 February. The decision for GST education would enhance employment prospects in children.
