The grand alliance between Janata Dal (United) and RJD has made their presence in Bihar state by registering a massive victory. The party might create a buzz in the Parliament from the beginning of Winter Session, by indicating to support the opposition party on the GST Bill.

As per the Central Government,  Bihar is a consumer state and hence it will be benefited from the enforcement of GST. Consequently, the JD(U)’s government has ruled for the previous ten years, lending its support to it.

After NDA’s failure in Bihar elections, opposition parties are quite buoyant. JD(U) leaders have said that first they will talk with the other parties and after that decision will be taken.

The Congress party has opposed certain provisions of GST Bill and they have already stuck this reform over several matters including alleged corruption of few BJP’s leader in the Monsoon Session of the parliament.

JD(U) and RJD have gained power in Bihar after 10 years.  These two regional parties’ leaders have told that they will take a final action in upcoming days. They also believe that they must take its concerns in to account on GST Bill.

The GST has been stuck in the Rajya Sabha due to lack of majority of ruling NDA, whereas the JD(U) has 12 members in the upper house of parliament. On the other end, the RJD has only one member in the Rajya Sabha.
