MCA Grants Extension of Annual Filing Due Date for FY 2024-25

Due Date Extended for AOC-4, AOC-4 (CFS), AOC-4 XBRL & MGT-7/7A

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has recently brought the much-needed relief by extending the dates for the 7 important e-forms with the removal of additional fees on the e-forms, including MGT7, MGT-7A, АОС-4, АОC-4 CFS, AOC-4 NBFC (Ind AS), AOC-4 CFS NBFC (Ind AS), and AOC-4 (XBRL), filing related to the FY 2024-25 under the Companies Act 2013.

This extension is meant to help businesses by making it easier for them to meet their legal requirements on time. By giving them extra time, the MCA expects to reduce stress and ensure that all reports are filed accurately, which will be helpful for companies, their advisors, and everyone involved.

As per General Circular No. 08/2025, dated 31st January 2026, the Ministry has deployed new versions of several e-forms, including MGT7, MGT-7A, АОС-4, АОC-4 CFS, AOC-4 NBFC (Ind AS), AOC-4 CFS NBFC (Ind AS), and AOC-4 (XBRL) on the MCA-21 Version 3 portal.

As per the circular, the same relaxation does not extend the regulatory due date for holding Annual General Meetings (AGMs) under the Companies Act, 2013. Under the Act, the companies that are unable to follow the AGM timeliness will face legal action.

With the approval of the competent authority by Dr Amit Kumar, Deputy Director (Policy), MCA, the order was issued.
