Delhi high court recently asked questions to the central government regarding the continues argument between the exporter’s community and the government on the GST refunds.

According to the petition filed by the Delhi sales tax bar association, the justice bench has given 8 weeks to the government for filing the counter affidavit regarding such details.

The details will be including all the way around from total claim refunds disposed and application. Also how much refund has been processed to the particular departments.

Also, the court asked a question like how the government has been tackling the issues and complaint due to GST refund claims. The petition filed by the association will surely reveal facts about the pending GST refund claims.

There were doubts on the government facts as the finance ministry stated that on 2077 crore refunds are pending yet the exporter’s community are protesting that around 22,000 crores are pending with the government as GST refund claims.

The exporters have argued that still the process of digitization isn’t truly converted for the ITC claims and they have to personally visit the office with hard copies and documents.
