Finally, the prime minister takes the step into the long pending GST refund issues of the exporters as the PMO organized a meeting with Mr. Narendra Modi to listen all the related grievances summoning the CBIC.
The PM also noted all the process and facts to ensure that how the government will fast-track the GST refund pending of the exporters. According to the recent reports the government achieved disposal rate of 93.8% of GST refunds.
According to the statistics, in the total refund claims of INR 88,175 crore, the government had processed INR 82,775 crore. The GST refunds claims are in a long queue by the government and still creating capital problems for the exporters.
