AAP Government to Recruit CAs for Auditing Private Schools’ Accounts

AAP government to control the arbitrariness of the private schools in order to upsurge in school fee ranging from 20 to 55 percent, recently approved a proposal at the cabinet meeting regulated by Honorable Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal. As per the proposal, government decided to recruit CAs to audit the account of the private schools running on the government lands.

The approached complaints from the distressed parents turn the ruling government to take this appropriate action towards the school authorities. The Directorate of Education also warned the private schools to not do such modifications in the fee structure without any prior sanction from the authorities.

A senior government official said,”As per the Delhi Cabinet’s decision, government will only hire the CAG-empaneled chartered accounts to get accounts of schools running on its land audited. The audit of the accounts will be done if government receives any complaint from the parents against a particular school.”

Besides this, Mr. Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister instructed the DOE to take necessary actions to suppress this kind of arrogant activities as the hike in school fees and oblige the students to buy books from private publishers.
