CBDT Releases E-Brochure for Making ITR e-Filing Easier

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has provided an e-brochure to respective taxpayers with a motive to make tax filing simpler.

The CBDT would have initiated the latest IT e-filing portal dated 7th June 2021. The former date to furnish the yearly income tax return for the salaried assessee and the non-auditable cases would be 31st July.

The assessee who looks towards the filing of the ITR could insert the related information online at the e-filing portal and submit the same. The assessee would furnish ITR 1 (Sahaj) as well as ITR 4 (Sugam) online. Log in to the e-Filing portal by entering your user ID (PAN), Password, and Captcha code and click ‘Login’. Tap on the ‘e-File’ menu and tap on the ‘Income Tax Return’ link.
