MCA 21 V3 Portal Records Approximately 53.08 Lakh Form Filings in FY 2024-25

Under National eGovernance Plan (NeGP) MCA21 is the first Mission Mode e-Governance Project. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has functioned from end to end for the registry and incorporation of pertinent services of companies & LLPs since 2006 and corporates have been making filings on this portal since then.

In the recent duration from 01.04.2024 to 27.01.2025, a total of 80.26 lakh forms have been submitted on the MCA21 portal compared to 73.29 lakh forms furnished in the related duration in the earlier year.

On the newly developed MCA 21 V3 platform, 53.08 lakh forms were submitted from 01.04.2024 to 27.01.2025, as against 47.72 lakh forms filed in the same period in the preceding year demonstrating an increase in the number of filings, enhanced stakeholder engagement with the system as also the robustness & reliability of the MCA21 platform.

Business operations could be streamlined from the MCA21 V3 platform which has introduced web-based forms allowing the real-time validation of the data entered via stakeholders. Also, the process of user registration has been executed to improve user identification and authentication.

The procedure allows the users to monitor the status of their furnished forms and download challans and certificates directly from their application dashboard. To assist the stakeholders a live chat option is been implemented in the helpdesk furnishing real-time support and improving the overall user experience.

By complying with established data security standards, including the MEITY guidelines, CERT-In regulations, ISO 27001, and Information Security Protocols, the security and confidentiality of information furnished via the MCA21 portal are ensured.

To verify the identity of users accessing the system, Multi-factor authentication has been introduced. To maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the data measures like masking private information from public view have been executed.

The Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Minister of State in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Harsh Malhotra remarked this in a written response in Lok Sabha.
