The government has finally taken three bills namely The Central Goods and Service Tax Bill, the Integrated GST and GST (Compensation for Loss of Revenue) to the parliament for the consideration and passage in winter sessions upcoming from next week.
The bill passed by central government will be giving an imposition of tax on intra-state supply for goods or services; the Integrated GST will enable levy of tax on inter-state supply of goods or services; and the third Bill is to facilitate payment of compensation to states for loss of revenue arising on account of implementation of GST for a period of five years.
The other bills on the list are the appointment of appropriate authorities for regulation of the practice and process, the Surrogacy (Regulation), to constitute National and State Surrogacy Boards. While some of the other bills are related to marriage acts currently running in the Indian legislations.
