The government has done the numerous number of changes in the e-way bill system, giving incredible help to the small businessmen. For them, the e-way bill range has been expanded from 10 kilometres to 50 kilometres. Aside from this, there is also additional relief given to business, like FMCG and dispatch companies.
The government recently did the adjustments in the e-charge, enabling the arrangement of Job-Workers to make an electronic receipt issued for sending the products. Mentioning that the e-way bill has been made necessary to carry with the products/goods worth more than 50,000 Rs that are being transferred from one place to another.
Due to the new rules, FMCG companies going to get many benefits. The administration has permitted just the cost of the supply of assessable supplies when e-charge is made. Obviously, the merchandise is being marked down or supplyable products are being provided. This implies if the food items taken on a truck, which is GST and different things like duty on milk, are being taken, at that point just the cost of nourishment items only will be paid in the e-bill.

Apart from this, small businesses will also get vast interest, as they do not have to give the vehicle details if they are sending the products/goods within the 50 km range in one state. earlier, the range was restricted to 10 kilometres only.
Tax consultancy firm PwC had told that due to the new rule of government, e-commerce, courier companies, etc will get great relief. Their paperwork will be reduced. They said that the government should also give the discount on the intrastate consignment as well.

In the new rule, it is declared that the bill will be valid until midnight, on the same day, but before it was valid till 24 hours. For example, if the bill is cut for 100 kilometres in the evening of March 8, then the bill will be valid till the midnight of 9th March.
