Strict Provisions Under GST May Demand GST Jails in Every State

The new GST regime will be enforcing numerous tax compliance along with the strict prosecution which will further lead to demand GST jails in every state as stated In the meeting of the Punjab State Trade Board, the State General Secretary Sunil Mehra, District President Radheshyam Ahuja, Vinod Bharti.

The ministers also asked about the provisions in the GST regime in which the legal proceedings are only applicable on the traders and business units while leaving the authorities. The members of the committee stated clearly that GST council must undergo an another series of discussion for the better provisioning of the rules and regulations else they warned to take the issue at a nationwide level.

The minister from the committee was concerning the matter that the center is tensed for the 19 percent organized sector who are well settled but has totally ignored the 81 percent un-organized sector and has left them to suffer their mismanagement. They also stated that the un-organized sector is lacking a proper system and an online working framework which leads a further setback for the sector.

This is the main reason that there are 11704 dealers still awaiting their provisional IDs and password which are not developed until now. Mr. Mehra and Radheshyam mentioned that in this month a huge function will be organized in which there will be a brainstorming discussion over this framework. The trade division will be led by State Chief Minister Pyarelal Seth in the state of Amritsar along with Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and will make them aware of the shortcomings and strict provisions of GST.
