The goods and services tax has been rolled out and already half a month is elapsed but still, the issues regarding registration prevail in the trading community. All the issues are related to the technical shortcomings of GST portal. Some of the common issues like Invalid user ID of taxpayers, URL error, ID not activated are still prevalent on the screens of traders trying to understand this new tax regime.
The government has tried to help in this chaos and has provided various GST helpline numbers on which taxpayers can register his complaint and can get the resolution. Numerous traders including national capital Delhi’s Karol Bagh trader Prabhat Jain tried to explain that even the OTP does not come on the registered mobile number.
Also, he denoted that more often the GST portal while registering shows provisional ID and password not activated kind of errors which is frustrating. While some other traders told that, in between doing registration, the portal shows ID password as invalid which makes no sense for further procedures.
