Security Agencies Demand Changes In GST Bill Payment Procedure

C. Bhaskar Reddy, Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) State chairman and Association of Private Security Agencies (APSA) president in collaboration with a private security professionals delegates presented a description in front of GST authorities concerning payment of GST on 18 July.

He mentioned that the explanation has been presented to the Chief Commissioner Customs and GST, Visakhapatnam Zone informing the protest against the GST rates and the GST filing procedures for furnishing the payment by the security agencies.

The meeting in the city on Wednesday was also favouring a country-wide protest march followed by all the states and operated by around 2,000 security agencies which made more than 70 lakh security guards arrive at the march.

Mr Reddy mentioned that the demand of them was focussed on payment of GST not to be allowed at the time of billing. They asserted that the GST payment to be accumulated from the service receivers instead of security agencies. Such as TDS should be retrieved by them while raising the bill information, he further mentioned.
