Thanks to Revised GST Rate on Ambulance, EECO Now Cheaper of INR 88,000

Good news for the hospital industry. There is a price cut of Maruti Suzuki EECO Ambulance by Rs 88,000. Now after the reduction, it costs Rs 6.17 lakh in Delhi. This offer is valid till September 30 of this year. The reason attributed to the price cut is the revision in GST rates Grab the information of revised GST slab rates on consumer products in India, Although GST council finalized the slab rates like 5%, 12%, 18% and 28% from 28% to 12%.

The Ministry of Finance on June 14 had decreased the GST rates on the essential COVID-19-related items that include hand sanitisers, ambulances, pulse oximeters, temperature checking equipment, COVID-19 testing kits, and so on. For the EECO Ambulance, the reduction in prices shall apply from June 14 onwards.

Coming to its features, it has got a boxy stance with a dual slat horizontal blacked-out grille, small front hood, a wide air dam, halogen headlights, and a wide air dam. However, on its sides, it is flanked by square-shaped windows, 13-inch wheels and manually adjustable black ORVMs.

Moving to a technicality, it is fuelled by a 1.2 litre, 4 cylinder petrol engine that is tuned to produce72.9 hp of power and 98Nm of peak torque. It has a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Its interiors have been designed keeping in view the painful situation of patients. It has a spacious 5/7-seater cabin that can be modified into an ambulance or cargo van. Inside, there is a dual-tone color scheme, reclining front seats, fabric upholstery, sun visors, heater, and rear parking sensors.
