Recently the central government and GST council have implemented intrastate GST E Way Bill in the state of Odisha on the trial basis and will implement officially from 1st June 2018. The state is now responsive towards the GST E Way Bill for the movement of goods interstate.
The GST E Way Bill can now be generated in the state of Odisha for the intrastate movement of goods having value more than 50,000 or more. The intrastate E Way Bill will now in the effect from 1st June 2018 in the last phase of the rollout.
Earlier almost all the states have introduced the GST E Way Bill in their respective territory including Rajasthan in the recent, while in the earlier phases of e way bill roll out the state like Jharkhand, Bihar, Haryana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh from 20th April 2018.
While in the previous phase there are some states like Telangana, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat which were included into the list of the intrastate applicable state starting from 15th April 2018.
