Union budget 2022-23 is to be addressed by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman dated 1st Feb 2022 in a paperless form.
At the end of the budget, the Sweets gets distributed to the core staff but this would not take place because of the pandemic and the covid protocols. The staff is needed to go through the lock-in.
To carry on the secrecy of the budget 2022-23 lock-in is there for the officials this was made while making the budget. Budget Press, located inside North Block, houses all administrators in the duration of leading up to the presentation of the Union Budget. The same officers and the staff would be in contact with their relatives only after the budget is shown by the central finance minister in the parliament.
In the former time, the union budget of 2021-22 was provided in the paperless form for the initial time. A Union Budget Mobile Application was offered to provide the best experience in accessing the documents of budget given by the Members of Parliament (MPs) and also by the common public.
Union budget 2022-23 is available on the mobile application when the budget gets presented and gets completed on the date 1st Feb 2022 in the parliament.
Under the ministry, the mobile app permits complete access to 14 union budget documents that engage the budget speech, annual financial statement (commonly known as Budget), demand for grants (DG), Finance Bill, and others, as defined by the Constitution. The mobile app is bilingual (English & Hindi) and is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

The app would be enabled to get downloaded from the web portal of the union budget (www.indiabudget.gov.in). The budget documents would indeed be available to download by the general public on the union budget web portal (www.indiabudget.gov.in).

Option to Download and Print Important Documents
- The user would simply download the PDF on his or her phone by tapping the download option given in the menu shown in the upper right corner of the PDF viewer.
- PDF viewer supports searching, and then zoom in and out option towards the content.
- The user would print the document by attaching his/her mobile to nearby
- Wi-Fi printer.
- Another strategy to print the document is to download the document via tapping the download option from the upper right menu and then transfer of PDF file via USB 2.0/3.0 cable to the PC.
- Towards the case USB device is not available or would not work they furnish the document to their email. For that, long-press the document and then tap send. A chooser dialogue would open from which the user would choose the email app to furnish the document to his or her mail ids. From the PC the user can open the email and take print from there.
