Good news for the Income Taxpayers. Due to difficulty that has been constantly reported by income taxpayers in electronic filing of Income Tax Forms 15CA/15CB on the web portal www.incometax.gov.in, it has been decided by CBDT that taxpayer can submit the above-mentioned forms in manual format to the authorized dealers till August 15th, 2021 (Revised).
Consequently, authorised dealers are suggested to accept such forms till the aforesaid date for the purpose of foreign remittances. After the said time, a mechanism shall be provided on the new e-filing web portal for uploading these forms at a later date for the purpose of generation of the Document Identification Number.
Form 15CA is a declaration of remitter seen as a tool for averaging information in concern of payments that are chargeable to tax in the disposal of recipient non-resident while the Form 15 CB is needed to be signed by a Chartered Accountant. This is a part of certification concerning rates and eligible tax paid by taxpayers.
