GST: A Way to Digital Era for Plethora of Business

The GST is very near to the implementation and all the member’s government, enterprises, regulators and consumers will join the league making the motto of “one country one market structure” come alive. GST has been a very widely talked topic of this year however after demonetization, but one thing is for sure that the reform will bring a great change into the operational area of business and all the enterprises who are ready to delve into greater potential.

The change is being stricken mostly at going digital from physical aspect and the point of view is showing that today’s generation responds better to a digital platform. A survey being conducted by well renowned IT firm SAP disclosed that “a great digital experience directly correlates with customer loyalty and advocacy”.

It also concluded that “consumers who are delighted with a brand’s digital experience are almost 10 times more likely to remain loyal than those dissatisfied with it. Moreover, consumers ‘delighted’ with the digital experience of a brand are significantly more likely to recommend the brand, to the tune of positive 77%, versus a negative 60% for the dissatisfied experience.”

GST being a digital platform starting from GST Network, it will be a better mode of supply chain system in a network. While the GST will bring the cost down to 20 percent in logistics it will also save the expenditure to make offices accommodating more staff. The digital platform will also create a real time scenario while giving a larger play field to the SME sector.
