Taking the decision to stop the GST theft, the Kerala government will incorporate a mobile application in which people would enable to upload the original bills and could have the chance to win prizes.

Through the help of the Lucky bill mobile app, the state government seeks to raise the collection of taxes since people will get encouraged to ask for bills during buying of the goods and claim the services.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has launched the application dated 16th August as per the official statement.

The government is facing issues with financial performance and is seeing toward methods to increase GST revenues. The officials mentioned that the app would enable the state department to investigate the return filings through the GST bills the people are uploading.

The same action will arrive when the centre ceases the GST compensation from 1st July. There shall be no transparency provided yet that if the compensation regime will get extended as demanded by Kerala and several additional states.

From the officials, it mentioned that the application will empower the state Department to validate the status regarding GST return filings “This application will help to ensure that the taxation rules are strictly followed”.

Finance Minister K N Balagopal granted Rs 5 cr to initiate the Lucky bill app, in their budget.

The government is also working on dozens of measures to protect the GST evasion by introducing well-rounded security on generating the e-invoicing which will be done by the secured portal of government and will authenticate the supply of goods and services on both ends.

Also, the government has authenticated the supply of goods and services by Aadhaar authentication which will be used in proofing the actual place and supply of services or goods. Apart from it, the government introduced the mobile application that can be utilized to feed or input the designated data for reproduction when it is needed to complete the transit.
