Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) is all set to transform trade leaders into ‘Master Trainers’ as a part of initiation for her GST drive. These 5000 master trainers will be responsible for sharing their knowledge and resolving queries and questions of the trading community over the regard of goods and service tax. CAIT and Tally solutions both have come up together to empower and educate people on the matter of GST.
CAIT National President B C Bhartia said that “The proposed GST is a technology-based taxation system, which will change the business landscape in the country. We have conducted over 20 conferences in various states and 20 workshops are in the pipeline. We intend to make 5,000 trade leaders as ‘Master Trainer’ on GST all over the country in next two months. We will rope in Tax Practitioners, Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants in this drive.”

In an official statement of CAIT, “Though the trading community is making all efforts to remain alive with the ongoing developments on GST but certainly the onus lies on the Government to empower the traders about proposed GST. It is regretted that though few months have left but so far neither the Central Government or State Governments have made any concrete efforts to take stakeholders into confidence about GST though being the last mile connect with the consumer, the traders are the real carriers of GST.”
