CBIC Chairman: New Rohtak GST Bhawan Will Improve Connectivity for Taxpayers in Haryana Districts

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) chairman Sanjay Kumar Agarwal inaugurated the GST Bhawan, an official complex of CGST Rohtak Commissionerate at Rohtak, Haryana, the Ministry of Finance.

Shashank Priya, a Member, of CBIC, stated that when he joined the department 34 years ago, there were not many facilities available, and the office was run from a rented premises.

This new building will promote the officers and staff, boosting and enhancing the output. Since GST taxpayers are growing, we need more tools and modern facilities to streamline them for easy GST compliance.

It is a case of pride and happiness for CBIC to obtain a futuristic workspace, completed not just within the time frame but also within the sanctioned budget, Manoj Kumar Shrivastava, Chief Commissioner of Central Goods and Services Tax Panchkula Zone mentioned.
