A 36% increase seen in the monthly GST returns (GSTR-3B) for October month with respect to a similar period last year; this is because the monthly rise grew by 10% and crossed the Rs 1 lakh crore mark for the 1st time in the present financial year.
In the month of September GST network, GSTN seeks higher tax collections as the prolonged deadlines for past months reached closer. There are 1.68 crore returns which were furnished in September with an increase of more than 88% upon the last year.
More than 1.3 crore assessee are enrolled in GST while only 17 lakh are composition assessee who is obliged to furnish the separate return in a quarter and the other will furnish GSTR-3B
“It has been made possible as the GST infrastructure has been upgraded to handle up to 3 lakh concurrent logged-in users at a time,” the council specifies that there is a load which is continuously increased on the GSTN system. But the system is indeed able to handle 5 lakh, simultaneous users if needed.
The capacity to file the GST has increased to 1.5 lakh where the same number of users can furnish their GST returns
“Taking the surge during the peak filing into consideration, GSTN also took on the performance and stress testing of system applications that helped identify and remove bottlenecks in the software,” declares the council.
GST network had mentioned the elimination of the processes to which the assessee requests improvements in the workload to the assessee which can be implemented by developing the different methods which laid on the size of the assessees upload to invoice details, tuning operations, and database along with additional measures.
